National Museum of Uganda (NMU) in partnership with the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage (NDCH) are implementing a project to document, research, preserve and present memorial landscapes. The four pilot sites are Pabbo, Lukodi, Aboke and Barlonyo. The project goal is to promote reconciliation and sustain peace selection of memorial places, buildings and cultural heritage sites of significance to the conflict in Northern Uganda. The project is being funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) 2010-2012.
