CHILDRENS' RESOURCE CENTRE
In an effort to relate to the community and enhance the experience of children in the museum, the Uganda Museum now hosts a children’s resource centre which runs special children’s programme through interactive activities unique to children’s interests. The facility provides space for informal learning and is a supplementary resource to the school curriculum.
The resource centre provides free reading space stocked with varied genres of children’s story books to encourage and develop a reading culture among the children.We also have specialised programmes on museums & heritage,dance,photography,creative,writing,poetry,weaving,painting,
drawing,Modelling and many more fun activities!
Interactive exhibits and story telling sessions will soon be introduced. The resource centre allows children to interact, learn, have fun and make great friends!
We are open every saturday to children ages, 5-14 years from 8 am to 1pm
